Painting Space Wolves Grey Hunter Tutorial
By Rafael Mattick
This was first featured on Rafael’s own blog and is available in English and German. His space wolves were painted for armies on parade and have featured on Games Workshops website a number of times.
I have always loved these wolves, they were painted in a darker grey which suits them so much better than the blue grey that Games Workshop prefer. His attention to detail is terrific and there is so much character to his army.
You will need the following paints
Chaos Black, Skull White, Blood Red, Hawk Turquoise, Scorched Brown, Bestial Brown, Adeptus Battlegrey, Astronomican Grey, Dheneb Stone, Charadon Granite, Khemri Brown, Mechrite Red, Devlan Mud, Badab Black, Gryphonne Sepia, Dwarf Bronze (Brazen Brass), Boltgun Metal, Mithril Silver, (Brown Ink) & Gloss Varnish.
These are the old paints but just use the GW comparison chart to find the newer versions of download the app called paintRack from Google Play or the Apple Store if you don’t like using GW paints.
